Hip Replacement
Hip Replacement Surgery is a surgical procedure to replace a painful hip joint caused by arthritis with an artificial joint. The surgeon removes the affected area of the hip and replaces part of the hip with an artificial implant/prosthesis. Hip replacement replaces one or both joints depending on the affected area. The ultimate goal of this procedure is to reduce pain and allow the patient to return to daily life without pain. Hip replacement techniques are constantly evolving to develop less invasive surgical techniques that help reduce recovery time and pain.
